Seven brokers, four languages, two lounges you can walk into and four other suburbs where a broker is based. Here is who you’d actually be dealing with and where they sit. Every one of them works 9am to 6pm on weekdays and can be booked online.
A note before the names. Three of the seven are Chartered Accountants and three came through the big banks. That’s not an accident, because Nathaniel started the business in 2015 after years at CBA and ANZ, and when he hires he leans toward people who have already sat on the other side of the credit desk. It shows in how applications get put together.
Nathaniel Truong, founder and director (Burwood)
Nathaniel started Loan Lounge in April 2015 after working at Commonwealth Bank and ANZ, and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, a Cert IV in Mortgage Broking and an Executive MBA from the University of New South Wales.
He handles residential, commercial and investment lending and runs the Burwood office, which is also head office. He also mentors two of the brokers below directly. On 4 October 2025 the business he built received the award for Excellence in Business and Community Impact at the Australian Christian Business Awards, partly for the giving model he set up in the first month of trading. He speaks English and Vietnamese.
An Truong (Cabramatta)
An runs the Cabramatta lounge. She’s a certified mortgage broker with over four years in the job, an active property investor, and a former teacher, which is probably why clients say she explains things well. English and Vietnamese. Direct line 0422 016 829.
Thy Ha (Cabramatta)
Thy spent twelve years in banking before broking, most of it at CBA. One of the testimonials on our About page is from a client on their third loan with her. English and Vietnamese.
Bobby Lam (Marrickville)

Bobby is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) with a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and a Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. He came through the CBA graduate program and has 13 years in finance. Which languages do the brokers speak?
In the 2021 Census, 43.3% of people in Cabramatta spoke Vietnamese at home and only 12.7% spoke English only. In Burwood, 32.1% spoke Mandarin and 10.8% Cantonese. We didn’t set out to be a multilingual brokerage, we just hired from the suburbs we work in, and it turned out to matter, because a loan contract is hard enough in your first language.
Which office
Burwood (Unit 502, 180-186 Burwood Road) and Cabramatta are the two lounges with a front door and a reception. Marrickville, Bankstown, Bella Vista and Parramatta are where those brokers are based, and they mostly meet clients by appointment, phone or video.
